Zero Round Thread
Suitable for crocheting as a basis for crochet botties and for sewing on tops made of fabric, knitwear, felt (due to the thickness of 1mm, but more suitable for materials that are not too dense).
Very robust and abrasion-resistant, therefore particularly recommended for children's bottles.
When crocheting, it is important to note that using the crochet technique we have described (see crochet instructions), the yarn is applied to the outside and artificially widened the sole. This is then noticeable in a crocheted bottom that is too wide and must be avoided at all costs. We therefore recommend crocheting the basic row on the sole the other way around than we described in the instructions and in the video. To do this, simply thread the yarn as in picture 1. Now turn the sole over as in picture 2 and crochet single crochet stitches as described in our instructions. As in picture 3 it gets easier once the heel piece is done.
The festoon stitch is also a less “force-intensive” alternative to crocheting (see the instruction video “ Zero round with festoon stitch ”).
